About The Company
We are developing an active AI product, an innovative AI-powered educational platform aimed at transforming education by providing personalized, self-paced learning experiences for students and efficient tools for educators. As we advance in our product development, we are seeking a visionary leader to join our executive team as the Chief Learning Officer. This individual will play a pivotal role in aligning our platform with real-world educational challenges, particularly within the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) framework, and driving its adoption in schools across India.
Position Overview
The Chief Learning Officer will be responsible for shaping the educational strategy of AIpowered educational platform, ensuring that our platform effectively meets the needs of students and educators within the CBSE system. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with CBSE schools, a strong background in instructional design, and a proven track record of implementing educational technologies. This role involves leading the development of educational content, guiding product enhancements, and fostering relationships with educational institutions to promote early adoption.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Educational Leadership
- Educational Vision and Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive educational strategy that aligns with the company’s mission and addresses the needs of CBSE schools.
- Curriculum Alignment: Ensure all content and features are aligned with CBSE curriculum standards and pedagogical best practices.
- Innovation in Learning: Drive innovation in instructional design and delivery methods to enhance learning outcomes.
2. Product Development and Enhancement
- Content Development Oversight: Lead the creation of high-quality educational content, incorporating instructional design principles and CBSE requirements.
- Product Enhancement: Collaborate with the technical team to integrate educational insights into product features and functionalities.
- User Experience: Ensure the platform is user-friendly for students, educators, and administrators, optimizing engagement and effectiveness.
3. Collaboration with Schools and Educators
- Partnership Development: Establish and nurture relationships with CBSE schools, educators, and administrators to facilitate early adoption.
- Pilot Programs: Design and oversee pilot programs within schools to test and refine the platform based on real-world feedback.
- Training and Support: Develop training programs and resources to support educators in effectively using MeraTutor.AI.
4. Team Leadership and Management
- Educational Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of instructional designers, curriculum developers, and educational specialists.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with technical, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment of educational objectives with overall company goals.
5. Monitoring and Evaluation
- Learning Outcomes Assessment: Develop metrics and evaluation tools to measure the effectiveness of the platform in improving student learning outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement feedback mechanisms to gather insights from users and iterate on the product and content accordingly.
6. Compliance and Ethical Standards
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all educational content and practices comply with CBSE policies, educational regulations, and ethical standards.
- Data Privacy and Security: Collaborate with the technical team to ensure the protection of user data, adhering to best practices and legal requirements.
7. Thought Leadership and Advocacy
- Industry Representation: Represent the company at educational conferences, seminars, and forums to promote our AI product and share insights on educational technology.
- Thought Leadership: Publish articles, whitepapers, and case studies to establish the company as a leader in educational innovation.
Qualifications
- Advanced Degree in Education or Educational Technology: Preferably a Master’s or Doctorate focusing on instructional design, curriculum development, or educational leadership.
- CBSE Expertise: Extensive knowledge of the CBSE curriculum, assessment methods, policies, and operational practices.
Experience
- Experience with CBSE Schools: Minimum of 10-15 years in educational leadership roles within CBSE schools, such as Principal, Vice-Principal, Director of Curriculum, or similar positions.
- Instructional Design: Proven experience in instructional design, developing curricula, and implementing innovative teaching methodologies.
- Educational Technology Implementation: Experience integrating technology solutions into educational settings, with measurable improvements in learning outcomes.
- Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
